Rubinite talismans: full list, slot costs and best builds
All 29 talismans in Rubinite with their slot cost and where they come from — plus build guides for both halves of the game. Everything runs through one loop: Focus to find the weak point, build Marks, spend them on a Strike. Talismans either speed that loop up or bend it.
The loop your build has to serve
Focus pinpoints the boss's Pure Blood Crystal and generates Marks; longer, closer Focus generates them faster. A Strike consumes every Mark for a large burst — unless you run Mark Meister, which keeps all but one. Perfect Dodges (dodging exactly as an attack lands) also grant a Mark, which is why dodge-focused talismans are damage talismans in disguise.
All talismans
Sorted by slot cost, then name. "Craftable" means Wichiwi repairs the listed Damaged Talisman found in Monastery chests.

Builds
Early game (2–4 slots) — make Focus work first
- Keen Gaze (2) — Marks build faster, which is every damage increase you can buy at this point
- Pensive Eyes (2) — the gauge holds while you dodge; pairs with Keen Gaze once you have 4 slots
- Skip damage talismans. With a slow Focus loop, Direct Hit and True Swordfighter multiply a number you rarely get to use.
Mid game (5–7 slots) — convert Marks into damage
- Keen Gaze (2) + Pensive Eyes (2) + True Hunter (3) — True Hunter scales every Slash and projectile with each Mark, so it pays off exactly when your Focus loop is fast
- Perfect Strike (2) instead of Pensive Eyes if you are dying during Strikes — the invulnerability window is much larger than the default
- Bloodsucker (3) if you are burning through potions; the recharge is roughly three attack chains per flask
Real World (any slots) — buy extra lives
- Mira's Shadow (3) — one free fatal-blow tank per fight
- Undying Blood (3) — one revive per fight
- Both together give you two mistakes. Everything else is preference, because under one-hit rules damage taken is binary.
- Note: health-related talismans are dead weight here — potions and the healthbar are removed.
Boss-farming build (8–10 slots) — kill speed
- Mark Meister (2) + True Hunter (3) + Direct Hit (2) — Mark Meister keeps your Marks, so True Hunter's per-Mark bonus never resets and Strikes stop consuming your stack
- Strike Meister (6) if you have the slots — every Strike skill at once is the single largest damage jump in the game
- Killer Instinct (3) is a strict upgrade over Direct Hit if you can reliably hit the white arc
